What Do We Do?

We offer free courses for adults to finish their high school diploma, study for high school equivalency and exit exams, and enhance basic reading and math skills.  Our focus is on building skills to help students become ready for college and career technical schools.

Orientation for Adults are given at the beginning of each term. All new students must complete an orientation prior to being enrolled in classes.   Please click on the "Orientation" tab above for instructions to register.   Priority Registration for Returning Students (Returning students are defined as students who are currently enrolled at MDA.) takes place the second to last week of each term.

Click on the Orientation Tab to see New Student  Orientation Registration dates.  (Classes are on a first come, first serve basis)

CAHSEE Testing for Adult School students will be administered in November 2015. You must be enrolled as a student  to take the test here.  Call the HSD office for more info.

The requirements for the California High School Equivalency Certificate have been modified by the California Board of Education to include the completion of any one of the three high school equivalency tests (GED, HiSET, and TASC) for students 18 years old and older.
