What Do We Do?
We offer free courses for adults to finish their high school diploma, study for a GED®, and enhance basic reading and math skills.

There are four quarters during the year with accelerated learning, up to 10 credits are earned per session.  A student who is in the morning program all year can earn up to 40 credits by June.  For additional credits, distance learning classes are available. 

CAHSEE Testing for Adult School students will be given through the High School/GED Office 925-685-7340 x6745, starting in November 2014.

Orientation for Adults will be the Week of August 25, 2014.  Please click on the "Orientation" tab above for instructions.   

The requirements for the California High School Equivalency Certificate have been modified by the California Board of Education to include the completion of any one of the three high school equivalency tests (GED, HiSET, and TASC) for students 18 years old and older, and 17 years old in some instances.
